Sylmar Wildfire:(

This time of year there have been alot of wildfires because of the humid, high winds, and high temperatures. In sylmar there was a huge fire that spread through alot of mountains and wrecked more than 200 homes. It was a severe situation, also there were more than five-hundred fire fighters on the job.Most people hope there are less fires because this year has the most houses destroyed then the last 3 to 4 years.So we hope for the best and wish that there are not that much fires this year.

Homeless:(
This year in 08 have the most homeless people because more than one thousand people have lost their jobs. the percentage has grew up 12%. There is this a camp out where people volunteer to help out the homeless and the homeless live in tents and all the tents are numbered. Alot of people are losing there jobs because economic crisis going on. thats why a church is raising money to help out the unwealthy ones. What the helpers have to do is make food and drinks for the homeless cause they cant afford food as well as a apartment.

Barack Obama is awarding his daughter a new puppy. If you ask why he is giving her a new puppy, its because she has been good for the whole two years while her dad was electing for president. He is proud of both his daughters and glad he has a beautiful wife that supports him to the fullest. He isnt the only one that had a dog to the white house.

The New President Of 2008
Obama For President
Barack Obama is the first black president of the United States. He made history and now that he is president, he is also going to make change that we need. Obama had 349 electoral votes and John McCain had 173 electoral votes. Obama won by 176 more votes then McCain did. People were not surprised that Barack Obama was going to be president because by votes, he was winning by a landslide. I am happy that decision was made and let all peace take over.

Vote no on Prop. 8 (:
Prop. 8
Proposition 8 is a election against gay marriage. It is a bad thing because it go's agaist our fundimental rights. It is not fair to gay people because if they want to get married then they have to get married in Canada. The government are going to teach kids about prop. 8 and the kids do not have nothing to do with it. Even if a kid or student was gay its going against them and there is nothing wrong with being gay. Prop. 8 is unfair and uncalled for. There isnt a difference if there is a rugular marrage or a gay marriage.
